Logo contest Winner gets $75 and second place $25 via paypal wish to end it in 72hrs

Hi guys,

Make me the coolest thumbs up logo ever and win $75 and second place gets $25

Requirements:

Must have a thumbs up icon (use your own style) and the words to go next to it are: Highly Recommended

Colours: please use red

Must look very sleek, creative, unique, stylish and professional

I think what will be more important is the actual icon (thumbs up) rather than the font you use.

This is just a suggestion but not a requirement: maybe you can place a rectangle or outline around the logo to make it more defined.

If you've seen my past contests I always provide feedback and I always pick and PAY a winner.

I wish to end this in 72hrs.

@ The Article Person: thanks for getting this started but it's a little too common somehow. I am looking for something more unique, more creative and a little more outstanding. I also don't like the thumbs up you used. The thumb itself looks a little squarish and a little ugly to me (because of its squarishness). I need something a little more roundish somehow.

Definitely an improvement and the thumbs up definitely looks better. I am not sure about the rest though. It just doesn't fully grab me.

tGriff: I'm not too fussed about what format you use as it most likely will be used as a smaller image. I'm more into creativity. Whichever format is easier for you to work with. Going to school is a good thing. If everything goes well, I may even go to Ohio next year. I always wanted to visit that Cedar Point park (supposedly the best amusement park not only in Ohio but in USA)

thearticle: thanks for the new one but I just don't think it's heading in the right direction. Don't get me wrong it looks ok and it follows my requirements but I need something with a little more of a wow factor.

All the best for your entry. But I suggest you not to use images from other websites. It might be copyrighted.

sagarika: thanks for participating but not what I am looking for. I need something better than just a photo of the thumbs up. It needs to be more unique, more logo-ish

 

Man I went through about 8 million fonts... "Highly" just doesn't look right anymore. xD

 

miakiru: thanks for this. It looks good. Is it possible to see it with the highly recommended next to the icon as opposed to having it on top of the thumb up? I think the way it is now is very creative and looks good but just makes it a little hard to work out what the icon is with the text on top of it.

badboy: thanks but not really my type. Yours is a little too "funky" for my taste and I want something a little more professional, more trust inspiring even for older dudes or dudettes who may not appreciate something too youngish looking.

hey adrian: I am not a designer and I have no idea who is using someone else's images. But I must emphasise that if I wanted to copy something I would have purchased an already made icon or clip art so. I do want an original design and that is why I will be paying more than just a thumbs up image that can be purchased on the net.

miakiru: thanks for the repositioning. It looks good. Let's see what the other guys come up with and if it's one of the finalists I will then ask for some alterations.
