Im wondering if yahoo had pagerank because when i search on google, my site comes out, but when i use yahoo, it never did. Is there a way i could improve my ranking yahoo at the same time in google?
Rankings are not decided by PageRank. Yahoo do not have anything like PageRank....optimizing site accordingly will get you rankings eventually.
Do you see the TM sign above PageRank? It indicates that PageRank is a trade mark, and nobody can re-use it for his business. Btw, Yahoo has something like WebRank, or like that, to rank sites. Try to get backlinks (yahoo accept nofollow link ), and your site(s) will rank well Hope that help
Well they have some common criteria, like domain age, links value etc... So no, they don't have a public note like a PageRank, but they have some similar criteria .
Google is the only one who has Page Rank and yes it is his trade mark others have there only ways of judging website based on domain age, contents, link value etc..
To add to mixke' words, you also need to build some links to your site. Research your competition's keywords and see who you are up against.
Research keywords make your site seo friendly and you will be rank high both on yaho and google and no yahoo doesn't have page rank ...its google's
You are talking about search engine ranking position. Yahoo has different algorithm compare to google. To get listed top in yahoo search, domain name, title, mata tag and content play important roles
Eventhough its publically not known but from my experience Yahoo takes a Google PR of a site quite seriously. A backlink from high PR sites has good difference and better serp score for a Yahoo SE ranking.
infact does not have pagerank, as far as concerned about the optimize the site, both the search engine have the different algorithm, only few people how to optimize for both(including me)
