Why does MSN not crawl my websites?

    Hi,
I am wondering, why msn isn't taking the pains to crawl my website www.thespiritualhealth.com. I have google sitemaps plugin which submits the sitemap to msn also, but not much crawls from MSN in there. Can anyone guess why?

    Thanks

I am sorry about that. I actually get about two-thirds more links from Live.com than from Google or Yahoo. I do not know what I did differently. If I find it out I will let you know. Good luck!

I am having same problem too. MSN hasn't indexed my site at all. It has already gained a lot of PR in Google and Yahoo backlinks but in MSN, no index.

Quick way to let MSN know about your site. Open you MSN personal home page (or create one, no need to get fancy). On you dashboard, add your sites RSS feed to the list of feeds you want to display on your homepage.

Done. Now MSN knows you exist and your feed is in the system.
Unfortunately from my experience, you have to let MSN (or Live or IE or whatever the hell they are calling it now) know you exist. They will get to you eventually, but they are not Google, and don't send out millions of spiders a minute following links.

mmm... that was helpful... will try that...

I am not sure if that is true. Coz the other robots are crawling good.

Yeah that is the easy way out :)

I don't think you should give up so easily. Try to cover as much ground as possible! I think OP is wise in paying attention to the bots and their lack of interest.

But, like many have said, sometimes we can't do much to help it. :(
