My CTR improved from <1% to almost 6%

Hello...

Very good increase but like someone mentioned its very like... messy

Im having the same issue 1% as i have a site with 600-800 uniques daily and only manage to
get 3-7 clicks max per day with a grand total of a few pennies daily income for that site.
Im very color coordinated and only have (3) Ads 2 link units and 1 box and have been thinking of
changing the layout to see if i can start making some realistic google money.

My site also ONLY shows the 2 adsence link units every other page view so im not sure if its adsence that is
causing this messed up issue or if my coder has somehow managed to screw up the adsence so not sure what
im going to do but will attempt to rearrange if not ill just remove there ads...

I thought search boxes didn't as part of the three ads limit, similarly to how link units don't count.

6% CTR, with that kind of number I don't think anyone would mind accidental clicks.

 

Well i don't think i am breaking any TOS. Before implementing this i have did take a closer look at TOS and i think its allowed. Its my interpretation and its right as many of other webmasters said so.

Still correct me if i am wrong as i dont wana make google angry..LOL

 

Yes even my perception is search box dont count as ad blocks and u can put 2 search box in addition to 3 ad blocks and 3 ad link units

 

I don't know who gave you this curious information. But whoever he is, he is trying to fool you. Ad search box is different from ad unit. and it is different from link unit. The page doesn't violate any terms.

 

Good CTR ratio from 1% to 6%.
Good site you have made which i have just seen.
This is totally relating to technology side.
Update is necessary from time to time.

 

You have put ads more than 3 times, be careful about it but your blog is good in any way

Congrats on getting a better CTR but I doubt people will bookmark a spammy site and send links your way. Short term gains for long terms losses.

You can simply place a tiny ad block, like a 468 banner or just a medium rectangle with a float:left; using CSS .

Remember, those are the readers who are clicking, so if you'll loose them, you'll loose your clickers

Mine CTR went up too. I have just changed some colors and shapes

 

I can see the ads but where is the website lol .

 

the website tricks visitors. it highlights the ads and shadows the content

 

Check again.... i just moved my site to Wordpress platform and its much better now.Take a look again
