Well, this is a great site to promote your websites. You can also read my post about how to generate traffic to your blogs or websites.
Try contacting sites that sell football gear and ask if they would put a link to your site on pages with Guingamp gear, or other pages that discuss French or EU football.
The first thing you should do is keyword research. Use Google keyword tool to find keyword that best describe yoru product/service. For link building I recomemnd: - Article marketing - get good content with high relevancy in relation to your choosen keyword. Then submit it to article directories - Directories submisssion - quick and easy way to get incoming link - Social bookmarking - submit your site to popular directories like digg, furl etc.. You can do this yourself but it'll take a lot of time or you can pay to get it done
and after the full day of promoting the new blog you might want to relax. my tip is http://extreemblog.com/ but really, social bookmarking is the most efficient thing ;] Cheers!
I have a football team fan site myself, for a Romanian club. The first thing you should do is post in Guingamp fans forums. And after you get a few readers maybe try to make an exclusive interview with one of the players or the coach, that should get you more readers. And if you continue to give them good content, updated frequently and so on they'll stick with you. If now, they'll leave and that's it. Good luck.
Find, research and then contact other football websites. There are many of these available that are also in search of some form of link development. The great thing about your site is that it is geared towards french footaball from the UK so you will not be treading on too many toes!
Yes that is right considering that you have optimized your site and continue optimizing for the inner pages. you need a sitemap to update the changes and indexed your site faster.
I have no problem with getting into google. I am number one, or at least in the top page for all my keywords. My domain is 6 days old, so that is pretty good going! Just need to make sure I reach my full potential in terms of links etc!
That's excellent ! You should continue build fresh and new backlinks for your website in order to keep staying at the top of SERPs.
Is it better to get as many links as I can, or a few relevant links from higher PR sites? I find it difficult to comment on blogs because there are not many that are related to my blog!
