Doesn't even matter. Forums do not have very high click throughs and there is a cost associated with operating them as they grow. How many ads have you ever clicked on in a forum?
With the huge traffic they make, at least 5,000$ I would guess. But yeah, the CTR is not likely to be important.

Hmmmm, I think they get to earn a good money. I created a forum, without content still (I think there are only 10 topics there now ) and I got some clicks there! I don't think impossible to get some good money with forums.

Don't forget search engine traffic, they come in here unable to post, the only way is out or browse to other pages. I think non-members actually contribute much more to DP's revenue than returning members.
i think dp gets $$ in 5-6 digits .... bcz of more impressions. i think CTR is below 1%. users are more in dp ... so generated impressions are in millions. means from impressions DP getting 5 digit earning.
