The GDI affiliate program is different in 2 ways. First they pay you a 10% comssions 5 levels deep and infinite levels wider. Secondly they also pay $100 referral bonuses for every 5 people refereed within a 1 week period. GDI is actually a very good opportunity though frankly speaking I am not impressed of their service at their price. Anyway, I am not good in marketing...I have tried the 7-day trial and I experienced horrifying situation because they are not telling us that to cancel we must CALL their USA office -- oh my, since I am not in USA calling them could cost me money in international call charges. I think they should be telling this cancellation procedure upfront...
REALLY??? who told you that? All you have to do is cancel your payment sucscription on the paypal website and the rest happens by itself. Sounds like you had a bad time when you gave it a go. Choosing the wrong sponsor is something that happens to a lot of people too. All the best of success in the future
Here is my history with GDI. I first joined I think around early 2006. I had about 8 people in my downline total. I promoted all thru TE's. I did get about 5 sign ups from PPC (I had a voucher). Anyhow I was so close to 10.00 a month (enough to pay to the GDI fee) but I quit. I later signed up 2 different times. Once with 3in7 (which didnt live up to ANYTHING, and one other time) each of those 2 times I only had about 3 people in my downline before cancelling after 3 months. It is not a scam and probably big money is to be made there in the long haul (I think Affiliate Marketing is more stable). I also wonder where I would be if I didnt cancel the first time in 2006, how my downline would be looking now. Unless I had extra money to play with I highly doubt I would ever do GDI again. IF someone knows a magic bullet for GDI i'd really like to know it.
Good point, well made. I know a lot of people start with GDI and get told by their sponsors how they'll be rich within a week which just isn't true. Another thing that makes people want to quit is having someone as a sponsor who has no idea what theyre doing or trying to do. The key is to build a chain of success that should never be broken. Your sponsor SHOULD help you to learn and understand everything that they know so that you can teach the people that you bring in the same thing. And they can then teach what they learn from you to the people that they bring in. That's how its supposed to work but unfortunately a high percentage of people who join GDI dont get into that chain of success, they end up loosing interest and quit. Your sponsor is absolute key if your new to online marketing. There is no real "magic bullet" as per say. All I know is that since the decline of the world economy which had slowly been building for a few years now, the amount of online searches being done for ways to make money online has just gone crazy. The market for this affiliate program is an ever growing one and I can't see that changing in the near future. That's my opinion anyway. The GDI affiliate program is definately worth looking into. It's the cheapest way Ive seen to get into and get some experience in affiliate marketing. Because experience is the one thing that not even the best, most expensive e-book or e-course can teach you. There is absolutely no sense in making promises that we can't keep. I also know people in GDI who are promising that you will be in profit within a week after joining, but that is not realistic. It is possible but nor very likely. GDI is not a get rich over night scheme! It is for those who are thinking to make money in an online business opportunity on long term. That is what GDI is all about: a long term business opportunity and partnership with your upline, with your sponsor. Your upline is one of the key elements for your GDI success!
