Hi, i going to start to sell some script what i made in my website. any of this it's a scam, are genuine scripts made by me, with 6 month of email support, demo before buy etc.. but i want to know what i can put like "terms of service" or something like that to face a claim if some scammer make one to get her money again and of course, he already have the script. what you can recommend me thanks in advance for the help Regards, Shadow.
It is up to you and your customer to resolve it. In my cases most of the time I will contact my client and resolve it. If some one want to realy screw you then it is not easy for you to win in the PayPal case. It is from my experience. There is always bad side when you do this kind of online business.
Hi, so i cant have any defense for this? any have some advice of how i can avoid this? if a honest client make a claim for some reason, of course i going to contact him and try to solve any problem what he can have, but with someone who only want to screw me.. :s Regards, Shadow.
Ask the client to put 'digital product' or 'digital delivery' etc etc when making payment...This will help a lot... Regards
that going to be great but in my country i cant get a bank what give me a international account to make the deposits (i'm using xoom to get the money from there, and i get the paypal account verified with a payonner card). thanks i going to do it any other advice about this? Regard, Shadow.
If possible, log that the product was provided to your customer at the time of purchase. If you send them a product keep after they purchase it be sure you have a copy of that email. Also, as dragun said make sure you clearly state that you're selling a digital product, and what your customer can expect to receive by purchasing it (ie: a product key that will remove the trial restriction). Regardless of what you do, digital products are much easier to charge back than physical products. In the even that someone threatens to issue a charge back, my recommendation is to do everything you can to avoid it. Just be careful because if you issue a refund and they do a charge back anyway it could be messy to resolve. Just keep as much documentation on the transaction as possible to protect yourself.
Hi, thanks for all your help guys this seems not to be easy like i think in the beginning, i going to take all the advices what you give me, and try to avoid the claims Regards, Shadow.
Just use the Buy Now button option to sell your script if they are ready-made and Request for Money/Email Invoice if they are custom scripts. These are tools available on Paypal for business purposes. This will remove any misunderstanding as to what the money is for.
yes, also moneybrookers , the problem it's i cant get a international bank account in my country (why i dont have any stable salary, here if your dont have that, you get nothing from the banks ) to make the deposits now i'm using the xoom service to get the money till i figured out how to get one Regards, Shadow.
I have had a problem with paypal. I gave everything they needed (even faxed a document) but then it almost a year now. Nothing was resolved. Too bad service.
