A warning from google

Yesterday I had an email from google saying
"It has come to our attention that invalid clicks or impressions have
been generated on the Google ads on your site(s) through users of
third-party programs paid or provided with other incentives to visit
your site. Such programs may include, but are not limited to auto-surf,
pay-to-surf, pay-to-read, or pay-to-click sites."
They have said that if it continues they may disable my account.
I immediately wrote back and apologised. I did belong to a site that generated some traffic to my websites and would have caused invalid impressions. (I stupidly didn't realise this was what it was doing or that I was doing anything wrong at the time.) I immediately asked to be removed from the members list on the surfing site and I had the following reply:
"You will be better off deleting your adsense account, as they will cancel you in the end whatever you do (So I have heard on Webmasters forums)."
Is this true? am I going to be kicked off AdSense whatever I do?

 

No, it's not true. You are not "better off deleting your AdSense account"; you are better off deleting yourself from whatever that "member's list on the surfing site" is.

What IS a "surfing site"?

The good news is they did contact you with a warning. And would you rather believe the administrators of an immoral and sleazy pay to click program or Google?

 

It's an autosurf program, crediting their members and multiply their investment when they surf in

 

I have recieved those but not for a really long time. You are fine. if they wanted to ban you then you would be banned

At least they given u a chance." means "See, if you do everything within the Google Terms of Service (TOS) then it'll be okay for you,l otherwise you have to lose your AdSense account, so always take care to stay within the Terms of SErvice. Thanks for all your replies. I asked to have my membership completely erased from the dodgy site and I'm now on the straight and narrow forever. I realise I'm lucky not to have been booted off the program and will take more care in future. Incidentally the dodgy site that I joined was highly recommended by Ciao members.

"You" is spelled "you", not "u". "Have" is spelled "have", not "hv".

And you mean "lose", not "loose".

 

Now now, have compassion for him!! He's one of my students over at Wacko University and he doesn't even know it!!!

Dude, you're from India...you've already learned most of what you need to learn to be a wacko!!! India is Wacko Headquarters when it comes to finding great students...when they don't drop out...like Amit did!!!!

I'd block any traffic coming from that program, and then let Google know you did that.

 

I've had one of them emails too before, it was about a month ago though and i havent been kicked off

I have also had the email sfrom google adsense once, as almost every beginner will. But if you just stop paying for the illegit traffic your problems will stop. Google adsense really isn't a way to generate too much income anyway.
