The name is real, the pic too. But the ID is fake as is the person who used it. Obviously.

Yeah, that site's amazing. I can't believe the dedication of the participants, on BOTH sides. The man hours that have gone into that stuff is unbelievable. It takes like an hour just to READ each case.

Yeah, I'm a poster at 419eater.com - we chew lads up for breakfast, wasting as much of their time as possible.

Don't be tempted to do this by yourselves without reading the guidelines at http://419Eater.com

By wasting their time, engaging with the scammers directly, we hopefully stop them spending that time going after more innocent and naive members of the public - if we can get them to spend their money too, whilst dealing with us, the scambaiters, all the better. (There is an art to this, engaging with them for as long as possible)

As I said, it's very important though that if you are interested in this activity, that you do so safely and at all times, keep yourself, safe online. Safety is the number one priority. The scammers, who can be from all over the world, often belong to international crime syndicates and to be frank, are known to even go as far as kidnapping, extortion, murder etc, whatever they can get away with.

Thankfully, most of them aren't exactly the smartest cookies in the universe.

To scambait properly, there is a huge number of tools at our disposal, for all sorts of purposes, including teams of people who can get bank accounts etc closed down that the scammers are using to defraud others.

If you do write to a scammer, which to be honest isn't advised if you don't fully know what you are doing, use a gmail email address as these are very secure and your IP address cannot be traced and NEVER EVER use your real name or give away any personal data, AT ALL under any circumstances, no matter how believable that they come across as.

They know one thing only, how to lie through their back teeth, to gain your trust.

Do not click on their links in their emails, just delete them on sight.

Do not say, you havn't been warned, these scammers come in every disguise possible.

Read http://419Eater.com - The original, largest and best anti 419 scammer site online with thousands of members very experienced in tackling scammers worldwide.
