I ordered a Offshore vps from eurosrv on jan 26 and got setup 5 hours later after I ordered. The service was working and then all of a sudden I was getting packet lost. I opened up a support ticket and it took 2 days for them to reply. Then the server went down for 4 days and I opened up a support ticket on the first day it was down asking for a refund(31/1/09) on their tos it says you can receive a refund if the service isn't work for 7 days and then I get an answer 4 days later when the service is magically working but im still getting packet loss. This is their reply on (05/02/09)
    Parts from their tos
These guys are liars, scammers & their servers don't even work properly.

That's actually a small price for a web host :)
I've seen some sell for 6 or 7 figures.

I agree. Purchased a Germany VPS, Got my account setup within hours, but they didn't give me the link to login to Germany WebVZ and the IP address that was allocated to me. All I got was a username and password only. Opened up a ticket regarding it, only got the WebVZ link after 7 days of ticket which by that time I've already asked for refunds. They should improve their support team.

My attention was brought to your thread by my tech team. I would like to share my side of the story.

Well, you did not tell the whole story did you?

I am still trying to figure out your customer name, but if my memory serves me right:

    1. You did not complained about the packet loss. You just asked for a refund.
    2. You also asked for a backup of your site
    3. You raised a charge back with PayPal

If you are a genuine customer, you would have asked us to investigate why there are packet losses to your VE. You did not and you choose to ask for refund straightaway.

Also, our question is, why do you need a back up? It is quite obvious you have used the VE you ordered.

If our customers are unhappy, we are more than glad to help him/her solve his issues. If there are technical issues, our tech team is there to resolve it. We have various ways you can contact us, via support ticket, via MSN, via online live support, via our on-site support forum, via emails.

Did you use any of them to contact us besides using the support ticket to ask for refund?

When there is a new order, and it has proven that it has been used, and when all of a sudden the person ask for a refund, in our position, what would you think of that particular "customer"?

There are a lot of fraud orders in the web hosting business, in this case, it is obviously this is one. Order a VE, used it (for various activities), and move on to the next host.

If you are a real customer, you should have wanted us to resolve your issues first, instead of crying for refund. Or are you a competitor out to smear our reputation?

I am willing to prove you wrong, order again, I will credit your account with 3 months of what you order, just to prove you have falsely accused us.

We have our fair share of happy customers, we have improved on our tech support team, added more servers, upgrade old servers since we took over. Our servers have stayed up far more than when it was under Edward's hands. This can be verified by the previous tech team under Edward.

In this throating cutting business, competitors who go out to smear their competition's reputation aint going to stay long in the business. How do I know? I have been in web hosting business since 1996.

Can I know why you make such remarks? Maybe you can share with us your bad experiences so that we can improve on it.

You obviously do not know what you are talking about. I am the person who bought the business from Edward.

You cant just come in, post inaccurate information mate. I just smell some conspiracy going on.. maybe it is just me... :p

This could be a genuine issue and I apologize for it. I am aware of 1 or 2 cases where customers do not get their setup information correctly. We have since fixed the issue and it will not happen anymore.

If possible, please give us another opportunity to serve you, I will credit your account with extra 1 month hosting to show my sincerity in apologizing and rectifying it.

While browsing through I found this post. I would like to note to all users that the person who started the thread is completely incorrect about EuroSRV. I have been with them once while with Edward and things were decent; low down-time. However since the new ownership of Eddie I have been happier than ever. The prices are cheap and the up-time is AMAZING! I highly recommend this great company because of their cheap prices and their great customer support.

To the other posters, I'm sure you know absolutely nothing about web hosting and I'm sure you will continue to spread negative reviews about companies which you know zilch about; do us all a favor - keep your mouth shut and stop filling the forums with unintelligent information.

    Good jobs EuroSRV!

    Hello,

Well i'd thought i'd come in here and backup my favourite webhost in a time of need.

I've been with EuroSrv for over two years, without any problems and the admin team becoming part of my forums it is a complete pleasure being on board with these guys.

With fast support and fast setup, i think this thread needs to be closed / ammended / corrected, because as of right now it looks pretty much like one kid got a little peeved and went on a rant.

To edward in the rest, you provide a great service!

I must agree with the host on this. If a customer opens up a paypal dispute, usually you can expect your account to be suspended. This is because the chances of a host getting the money, even if service is provided, is very slim. While we usualy try to work with the customer, I can't blame eurosrv for what they did.

Thanks Adam for swinging us that information, but yes it's ture paypal have very strict views on digital item delivery and i don't blame anyone for canceling your service due to charge-backs etc.

Actually, i retract my previous comment.

Eurosrv used to charge me $25 AUD a month, now the new owners have rolled in sent me a bill for $40 AUD a month and shut down my account.

No Customer support for the last 5 hours, nada, nothing..

I'll continue to post what happens in the thread.

Lets see how this pans out, Edward was stupid for handing over the business he ran it perfectly before these goons came along.

Wow, how things pan out, I would like to know too.

Mate, with due respect, you have an outstanding invoice with us which was due on Feb 13 2009. The fee is £15.00, which still is. The late payment fee was applied on Feb 17 2009, which is £3.00. Total outstanding due is £18.00.

I am not sure how much that applies in AUD, but we bill in GB£, or US$, not in AU$. If I am not wrong, AU$ has been free falling, I dont think we should be blamed for that should we?

The system suspended your account, not any of us. The billing of late fee is imposed by the billing system, not any of us.

According to the support system clock, you opened the ticket at 17/02/2009 02:03. I replied to your ticket at 17/02/2009 03:26.

Five hours? You have me on your MSN, you could have contacted me via it too.

I have out of goodwill unsuspended your account, please clear your outstanding's before the system suspend your account again.

Also mate, please check the facts before you say anything, thanks.

    cheers,
    eddie

Eddie it shows pure professionalism by posting my personal transaction history for all to see.

I'd prefer if you'd remove it and keep all private information via private message.

    Thank you for your response.
