Google Dance?

Reading around the net, I found articles that talked about the Google Dance. However, those articles were old (2004 - prehistoric informatically speaking), and I haven't found out more recent news about it.

So: does Google dance still exists? Or today the SERPs updates are more subtle and less...'dancing'?

 

Google used to do big changes infrequently. Now they do small changes frequently. So yes, still dancing but the music isn't so loud and it goes on 24 hours a day.

Google dance happens when Google recalculates link values thus ranking changes..

 

Yes, google dance still exist. i have a website before ranks page 6 and eventually jump to page 1 #3. So, beware of your backlinks anytime google will recalculate your link values.

Changes depend on the link values you make. I experienced dances last week of the month because the link surge I made. Again, link values matter a lot.

Google always keep on dancing but most of the time seo judges give them low points . Google shouldn't dance so often it brakes seo floors .
