Have you tried this on Google search network besides content or did it not work as well as content does?
I've read all 7 pages. I'll be doing this very soon, and that is not just another statement, its a fact!!!
Steve Thank you for your response. That you took the time to go back and respond to something you had missed shows your character. You will find continued success with such attention to detail. Thank you again,
Steve, I bought your book. I am very pleased with it. It is staight forward and to the point. Question: You mention using dreamweaver. I don't have dreamweaver, in fact I don't have any software like dreamweaver. Whatelse can I use? Maybe recommend a less expensive alternative??
My app got rejected from affiliate.com. I got accepted at Flux Do you know if I can reapply and when? Any suggestions?
It seems to me you can appeal to them one time. If you still get rejects, you would have to wait another 60 days to re-apply. What's the reason you get rejected? Ask them and find out why before you do anything else.
Andrew, most people get rejected because they don't have a decent website to show the networks. I've a little trick where you get to set up a professional website in 5 minutes. It's simple and fast. You download a free script, upload it to your hosting, a few clicks and you're done. It gives you a great site that most networks "love". Last year, I tried this with Azoogle and I was approved in 24 hours! I almost forget about this since it's been awhile...... pm me and I'll send you the script.
Thanks for the tips I hadn't thought of trying this method before so its given me some food for thought. Again thanks
Search Network doesn't work for poll method. Reasons: 1. Search Network is expensive. You can't get cheap clicks like what Content Network offers. 2. Passing Search Network QS is another issue we don't want to deal with.
I have really enjoyed this thread, and you have such a soft-sell appraoch that is refreshing. I am not a techo, but have 5 or 6 blogs and have been doing the niche blogging for a year, have seen variable amounts of $$ focussing on long tail kw and SEO - doing all the right things....BUT I'M STILL NOT MAKING MONEY!!!! So my search has lead me to PPC and CPA - very scared of Adwords, having lost a bit over the past year. But am willing to learn and be coached. Question - I am quite comfortable with Wordpress - can Wordpress sites be used for the landing pages, polls and link to the offer? And does the scripts and tools that PPC Coach, which you have outlined earlier, do they also work with Wordpress sites? thanks martin
At what point do you identify & label a campaign as a "loser" and abandon it? How quickly do the offers actually pay us? Instant? Every two weeks? Is it accurate that you wait for a campaign to get 1000-2000 clicks before you lower the max click from .20 to .13 to.06?
In fact the Landing Site Generator (one of the tool from PPC-Coach where you create a Landing Page instantly without having to learn all about html, css stuff) is an "enhanced" WordPress template. You get to customize everything as you wish. You can use other free WordPress template for your LP. But the biggest problem is, most of the WordPress template has too many "leakage". If you take a look at most WordPress post/page, you'll see links to recent post, categories, pages, comment etc.... All of those links are "leakage". the more links you have on your LP, the lower CTR you'll get. Why? because your ppc traffic will be directed to other places if you've too many links around. For poll method, we don't want this to happen. We want to direct ppc traffic as quickly as possible away from our LP to the cpa offer page. Bear in mind, you're paying for these traffic, you want to monetize them as much as possible. This is the reason why poll method professional (in PPC-Coach) learned this and developed LSG. If you get to use the tool plus my guide "The Ultimate Poll Page Formula", you won't have traffic leakage issue. That's how we achieve 80%-90% CTR on our poll landing page. Ask any ppc marketer, this is not something easy to achieve. Hope this explained. Let me know if you still have questions.
At what point do you identify & label a campaign as a "loser" and abandon it? Andrew, this is an advanced technique. I have a step-by-step guideline to "stop" all bad campaigns. I've written a report on this. I'm not going to reveal this in a public forum. PM me in PPC-Coach forum and I'll send you my blueprint. This is gonna be another of my free gift to you. How quickly do the offers actually pay us? Instant? Every two weeks? Some pays net 30, some pays net 15. Meaning whatever you make this month, they'll pay you either 15th or 30th of the following month. Check with you AM and they should be able to tell you. Is it accurate that you wait for a campaign to get 1000-2000 clicks before you lower the max click from .20 to .13 to.06? Yes, but you need to do it slowly. I normally lower it by 0.02 each time till I reach whatever cpc I want.
Any thoughts on adding adsense to poll pages? Do you think it will distract and lower CTR? If you have 100 polls, for those who don't vote, maybe they click on an ad instead which could result in more monetization?
If you know how to ftp wordpress files you can edit the sidebars to get rid off all distractions that Steve noted. Adding adsense would cannibalize your efforts and won't help with a Google Slap since the slap is based on LP quality ...and Ad display is not a part of the Adwords Quality Score
Steven (and Sem Ad) thank you for your replies. Do you think it would be a good idea to register a generic "poll" domain for the first few polls (ie pollmagic.com or pollinfo.com)?
