I have done affiliate marketing but never CPA and email submits offers before. So what makes a good CPA offer in your mind? I am using Neverblue, but this really applies to all companies that have CPA's. I have had a problem with advertising the wrong product in the past that has really hurt me. One of the ones I am considering is a $500 gas card to give them your email. So is the EPC important? Why does a $1.70 email submit offer have a EPC of $0.024. By my calculations that's a 4% conversion rate which is horrendous if you are only getting $1.70 for every conversion... What's a good $/lead? If its all email submits should I go for the $2.25 one, or the $1.05 one. Incentivized just means you get more money the more conversions you get, right?
Ask your AM for some top converting campaigns in the overall network and for just their affiliates. For really solid offers you can see $2-4 EPC - usually for "free" trials. If the EPC is this high the LP is probably well designed and tweaked a good bit. Email submits are tough to be profitable unless you are using the content network or some type of <$0.10 traffic. No. Incentivized is like if I offered you $10 to fill out a "free" trial offer (~$3 shipping) that pays me $30. I would profit $20. Another incentivization is telling a user they have to complete the email submit for an ebook or pictures or something of the sort. Incentivized traffic usually isn't allowed - and if it is the offer usually pays less. However, look into the poll method for email submits - some networks consider it incentivized while others don't.
Thatnks, that was really helpful. It's annoying that I hear such great things about how easy it is to convert these CPA offers, when the reality is that they are just as hard to profit from as anything else. So I should definitely steer clear of something with a $0.024 EPC?
Well all email submits are probably going to be pretty low.. But I would try to look for anything above $0.05 to $0.10 at least.
