Help! My Blog Shows Up in Google but the Snippet Shows The Meta Desription

My blog shows up in google alright, but then the snippet (?), or the summary text below the link shows my blog's Meta Description and NOT the First Few Words of my Post's Content. Can any guru here help me fix this?

here's a screenshot of how my problem looks like:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If a site has a meta description Google will use it as the snippet.

If you don't want that then removing your meta tag will eventually get Google to take snippets from your sites content.

I've always had the meta description but this happened only recently. Just a few days ago, my blog's pages that show up in Google has content snippets under the link.

I've heard that removing the meta description could hurt your site's search engine position, is this true?

I've also thought about this, but I would want a snippet that's dynamic - snippet from contents of particular posts.

Google will pull from the Meta....you can either change the meat to what you want....or remove it completely and google will pull from the text onpage.

Won't it (removing the meta desc.) hurt my blog's search engine ranking?

There are mods for wordpress that will automatically change the meta to the last post. SEO-mod or something...

Too bad I'm using blogger. Perhaps there's a blogger version of the mod?

I don;t know about that... I guess... WOrdPress allows for more open-source mods to be made... I also like that it totally runs on your own server. Not being dependant on other sites. Blooger Blogs do seem to get indexed faser, as they are part of he Google imperium...
