im not 100% sure whats going on in here but i can vouch for Chris and his hosting service. He has been supportive all the while im hosted by him and he just upgraded his server to litespeed

i have set up a monitoring service for my site hosted by FTN and so far im satisfied with the uptime. its not bad. no host can provide 100% uptime. no offense meant but if you want something like it get your own dedicated server. how can you say im not respecting your opinion? as what you have mentioned yourself, i am entitled to my own opinion so here i am posting my opinion. posting my experience with ftn

I never said anything about 100% uptime. This problem has been happening for some time now that Chris knew about it because we spoke about it over YM. And yes i take offense to you telling me to get a dedicated server. Its my money and i spend it where i want and not where someone tells me to spend it. I don't tell you what to buy and what not to buy with your money.

I'm planning to buy this hosting. On the first page the reviews are good but now it seems some people are facing problems. I'm planning to shift my site to these servers so just want to make sure if everything is alright.
Is the normal reseller for $20 or $30? In this thread it's mentioned $20 but on the website it's $30 or am I missing something?

 

Hey FTN why not stop posting here for a minute and read your email. I've emailed you at least 4 times in the past 5 days. By the way my sever STILL has blocked connections from certain IPs making them unable to connect. This has still not been fixed yet. This has NOT been a good hosting experience.

 

Also, I have no received my "free" domain. You have done nothing to fix the problem with blocking IP's. I totally agree with your_oz_mate. As far as I'm concerned you have done nothing to fix any of our problems. Also, I am confident that the sever was at fault last night because my scripts were not working and they were completely unchanged. All of the sudden 2 hours later it works. I really don't understand, I have have 3 shitty hosting companies and I thought I was careful choosing. DO NOT BUY from FTN if you plan on being happy with the service. Maybe this will get you to reply back to my emails?

Sorry wisdomtool as i was not going to post here again ( and my last post after yours was done while you were posting your reply, If i had seen that before i start that post i would not have done the post, and Kaoz why don't you stop trying to act like a moderator or admin when your just a regular member like the rest of us ) but as i got dragged back into this post by this host accusing another paying customer as me as a duplicate then something needed to be said because this Chris guy is taking things too far treating his paying customer like this accusing them of being someone when they are NOT. This is not a professional way of treating customers unless you got something to hide and trying to make others look bad to take the heat off yourself.

ATM the status of Chris's server status ( FTNHosting ) which is the same status its in 80% of the time its up when its not down.

Those states where copy and pasted from my WHM account then and that was the status of this server which hardly ever changes.

Here is the stats on siteuptime.com i decided to add for a little more proof. Feel free to do a whois on my domain and view the name servers used to prove this domain is hosted on the service provided by FTNHosting.

And thats the stats since the 10 Feb and its been down 5 times already in such a short amount of time. Poor service and support from a poor hosting company that oversells the services on the server.

Just FYI, be very careful posting the truth about this guyz services as he will not hesitate in deleting your account and keeping your money. He deleted my account for asking for a refund and posting the truth about his services here

 

Sounds like he has been putting way to many websites on a server / VPS.
