Why not? Bakit hindi? Just for the fun of it, katuwaan lang ba, what you think
after expressing in English, no matter how crooked, translate your thoughts
in your own language? Kahit baluktot ang English mo, puwede seguro sabihin
din sa sariling wika ang iyong iniisip, for all you know we might be able to understand your language also. Of course, we refer to non-English speaking
nationals. Para malaman mo, ang salita ko ay Pilipino, ibig sabihin ako ay taga
Pilipinas- Philippines. For your info, my language is Pilipino, meaning I am from
    the Philippines.

Precisely why I qualified reference only to non-English
    speaking nationals.

On second thought, strictly English speaking DPians could share the joy perhaps by
taking notes of the translations, 'yong mga talagang English lang ay puwede ring
makikipag-enjoy sa pagbasa ng mga translations na katulad nito, perchance you will
also get to learn about our native tongue, o, di ba, baka matuto pa kayong umintindi
ng salita namin, Pilipino in this instance.
