All the time... Was it Austin City Lights or Nights? Anyways, always had great performers on. Not up here in Iowa for some damn reason!
I think it was Austin City Limits, but you can tape it if it comes on again or just run a search, you might be able to buy a DVD from Amazon or something!
Yes, down in Texas watched it every weekend. About the only two programs on PBS I watched with great regularity was that one and the Red Green Show.
It was a great showcase of his talent up close as you can see from the video I linked to, maybe PBS.com has it on DVD, check it out and let us know if you find it!
PBS.org Nope, the only thing they have on the site is 2004 celebration. Now amazon has some SRV cd's. Could not find any videos there.
I guess you just have to tape it next time they show it on TV Thanks for looking into it! There's always YouTube and Gvideo
Is my collection of cd's. Think one of the grandsons lifted the entire carrier, will have to ask him when he gets back. Collection had one or two SRV cd's, among others like" the Chuckster, Janis Joplin, heck even the Kingsmen. All good cd's of the 50's to the 70's, with maybe some 80's thrown in. Even some good c&w of the oldies. Kept us going on the trips from Texas to Iowa and back. One grandson of ours is autistic (16 now) and he would have a blast listening to everything...he loved Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly and would want those played again and again (easier to get him a walkman).
Led Zeppelin for sure... his famous and in the music history compared to back street boys and compared to the music they played
