Stop Your Campaign, Clickbank Is Down

Guys, stop your PPC CAMPAIGN NOW, CB IS DOWN

 

Up and running for me.

 

Works for me too.

 

It's working now again. If you keep checking CB today, that's the second time it happened.

The website went down twice.

 

Let's hope it was nothing serious and just a little glitch.

 

I can't get on their main url, but all my aff links are working fine to the payment page.

 

It is workinge for me too. .

 

Yup, I think it is just a temporary problem

 

it might be temporary but it sure effected sales, in my case they were literally slashed to almost 0 (as publisher and affiliate in multiple niches) - especially the second half of yesterday (Clickbank time).

The gravity went freefall as well: http://www.cb-analytics.com/ so the issue was across board...

 

No there were some definite outages yesterday - Don't know why they're not reporting it. But i saw a 503 error at least 3 times when trying to access my account. And I'm not the only one, other forums have reported it as well.

 

If they go down for 1 minute, it doesn't mean that you have to go crazy and stop everything....

 

Obviously, but when thers a 1 minute downtime with clickbank it often result in weeks of slow sales. Dont ask me why but this happen all over again without any logical reason....lol

 

Does anyone have an explanation as to why this happens so much to CB?

 

I think its an ingenious way to eliminate competitor ads....

Come on DP and scream Clickbank is down and recommend people stop their PPC campaigns

I guess next he will recommend I stop the SEO work being done too

So what ? It works fine for me, and if it would not - who cares ? That's not a good reason for stopping your campaigns or even closing your sales page

 

i'm no expert but ...

clickbank website is clickbank.com ...

hoplinks go via clickbank.net ...

therefore, i believe it is quite possible for the website to be down but the hoplinks still working

 

At this moment I'm getting also the following error:

On the https://www.clickbank.com/... URLs

However, hoplinks and payment pages are working fine.

 

A bunch Of crazy lot here! Not only they are confused , they make others also crazy!!

 

yes even i got the same error. dont ever worry about it. every server sometimes does need to be restarted, so in that case u have to wait just few mintues, before everything comes to normal.

 

Guys, yesterday when I asked you to stop your campaigns, I wasn't trying to eliminate my competitor ads or even slow them down. I know when you are using PPC, it's like gambling with money, so I just wanted to save some of you from losing money and then start complaining about it.

But if any of you believe that I was trying to take advantage of people, I do apologize for letting you think this way.

CB went down 3 times. So I really thought they were having some serious issues, but I guess I was wrong after all. Anyways next time CB goes down, you won't have to worry about me warning you.
