is it normal to have some pages of the same website getting into Google index with www prefix and some without www prefix? Are there any complications and recommendations about it? Thank you.
Risk: a same page (e. g. with www) may be considered as a duplicate content of the other one (e. g. without www). Possible penalty Recommendation: go to your google webmaster account and select what you prefer (with or without www)
Did you mean deleting one of the sites from the dashboard of the Google Webmaster Tools? I am not sure if it will have any effect on whats already indexed. Could you please explain what did you mean by "select what you prefer". Thanks
I guess there's no penalty for duplicate contents as they are from the same domain. But, I am not sure about indexing them mixed. You can select any one from GWT.
