What is the Best Google or Sitemap Generator

Hello guys, recently doing sitemap but its really hard for to this hand by hand.
I want to ask or someone reply here there great sitemap generator...

 

There is xml-sitemaps.com, Google Webmaster tools, and then of course doing a simple search.

 

I need a sitemap generator that can generate more then 4000 pages. I am currently using Vigos Gsitemap which is a free sitemap generator for windows and I use the desktop version. This software works well and generates sitemaps acceptable by Google the only problem is that It only generates some 2000 pages. On my Amazon site i need at least 5000 pages.
anyone knows of a software able to do that?

You could check a1 sitemaps generator

 

You should use http://gsitecrawler.com/ for large pages, it is free and very easy to use.

 

Xml-sitemaps.com is a great one, but maximum 500 pages

If you need a bigger one, search google...There are thousands.

For those who are using wordpress, Google XML sitemaps plugin works very fine

 

I use Google Sitemap generator plugin in Wordpress and I never have had any issue with it. The plugin immediately updates itself the moment there is a new post in your Wordpress-powered blog. I don't think you need a sitemap generator if you have this absolutely free, useful WP-plug in.

I just downloaded gsitecrawler. Not sure what i am doing wrong but it wont actually crawl my sites. It onl creates a sitemap for the front page.

Any ideas ?

Yeah, I like http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ too.

 

I used xml-sitemaps and have not had much luck.

Please dont forget the following regarding sitemaps. The sitemaps are helping the crwaler of the search engine to find all the important contents on your website in the following cases:
a) pages that are not reachable from the main page via static links (such as pages linked via javascript or flash menus)
b) excess duplicate pages (due to say different sorting options), so the crawler might give up to look for new content if it finds the same content at different urls.

Now: if the sitemap is generated by the crawling method (which all online sitemap generators do) - how will it be different from direct craling made by google/yahoo? Neither will it discover pages hidden behind javascript menues, nor will it hide duplicate content. The real sitemap should be generated directly from the database on your website.

Thanks guys, im trying out xml sitemaps and it seems to have went through fine. Just a note, when submitting to google, make sure not to use the automatic priority option in xml sitemaps - make sure each page has a different priority as Google webmaster tools shows a warning.

 

yeah, you also need to have exactly the same version of the site (www or non-www) in the sitemap urls as in webmaster tools, otherwise it will show error
