    LOL @ Debunked :)

I like Jimmy Page guitar style :) Yes a shitload of Zeppelin songs and most of the 60s band had alot more heart to them then the shit thats out there now days.

I have to say though alot of what 2pac put out and even some of what snoop dogg has done has some pretty good meaning to it too.

Its easy to generalize when you dont listen to enough of the shit to really get a good understanding of what its all about.

Dont get me wrong though I do realise that most hip hop and rap doesnt really have much meaning to it aside from kill this and that and treat your woman like a ho.

Personally I listen to hip hop for the beats :) I used to be a bass player so the beats really hit home. The lyrics most of the time I couldnt care less for.

I love a good beat (ha) my brother-in-law (18 this year) does some awesome beats and even sells them to the guys who are musically clueless. I find it kind of funny. He will probably go on to do some great songs.

From 55 onwards to some good ones in the 80's, nothing but great music, great bands, great everything.
About 75, started getting worse and worse to today, not too many new bands or performers I can get excited about.

Alas, Stevie Ray Vaughn is gone but his music lives on!

Stevie Ray Vaughn was one of the few that could sing and play guitar, a rare old blues man for sure!

His death was sad, leaving from a show I think, a foggy day and his helicopter hit a mountain because of lack of visibility!

I seen him open up for Robert Plant years ago, the set was way loud, a very bad sound man had it way too loud, but he was one of the best on a good day!

PBS has one of the best films of him live in concert!

Yep and his helicopter hit the mountain with him and a bunch of members of eric claptons band !!!

SRV was the only guy ive ever seen successfully cover hendrix songs ! man the guys version of voodoo child sounds amazing even the feedback sounds similar :D

    Still Zeppelin ROCKS! :)
