Blog marketing

I'm thinking some ways to marketing my blog. I have several choices:
    -blog commenting
    -posting at forum
    -social bookmarking
    -directory submissions
    -RSS feed directories submissions
    -Article submissions

Which is the best method to generate traffic?
I want to outsource those task to other people?
Do you know any people who do that kind of work? Do you offer that kind of service?
    How much is their rate?
What should I do to get good service from them? How can I check their work?

    Many thanks.

10 forum posting = $1, Isn't that too expensive? 10 forum posting in the same forum, or different forum? Who will decide which forum?

For starters, Here's some really good tips in this DP thread.

    - Blog commenting is okay, and you can outsource that. If you have list of blogs and ask people to do sensible comments, then it could be ok. And it won't hurt to sometimes do it on your own too...

    - Posting at forum can work, but I've seen best results when you actually contribute on your own, and have something useful to say. Paid posting could be ok for your own forum ("to get things started") but I don't think it's such a good idea for other forums

    - Social bookmarking: get some sort of widget for your site and let others do it. You can hire people to submit those too...

    - Directory submission... bit "old school" but you might wanna check out this thread.

    - RSS feed directories submissions - no opinion... I suppose picking some could do fine.

    - Article submissions is fine too... and you can outsource it pretty easily I think. Just dig around this forum and you should find people to help you out.

    1) Best traffic comes from quality content & hard work.
    2) You can outsource much :)
    3) Just search on these forums... I don't offer such service
    4) Ask their rates... or better, name your price.
    5) Treat them fairly - give bonuses for work well done. Give them list of stuff to do and list of sites, and then go check out their work.

The personal connection part is great and that will assist you even beyond an occasional link on a blogroll. I get a ton of traffic out of Stumble and that's because I have built relationships with other bloggers, whose content I enjoy and they enjoy mine and we genuinely want to stumble, digg and share each other's content.

Also, you can use relationships in the blogosphere to encourage guest posts, another great way to get some new readers.

The best ones are social bookmarking (use Digg and SU), build backlinks (this will get you traffic from Google) and use forums to promote your blog.

All of those are bottom of the barrel that only noobs use.

Well, article submissions are good, as long as you stay away from article dumpers, like ezine.

If you want serious trafic, without such a high bounce rate, you are going to have to advertise.

Wanna know how Chow and Shoemoney got to be so big?

    Yup, they advertised.

Word of mouth soon took over.

Chow started off with DIGG, which really kick started him off. But he had a good angle, and good material. At the time, that is.

The best way to generate traffic is to publicise your site through various article in ArticleBase and other sites. Eventually it is an investment and not an expenditure. Slowly once people get to know they will start visiting the site. This factor can be utilised for google Adsense purpose.
