    Hi

    I'm looking for a re-design of a site www.inntec.com.au. The site needs to be scrapped and start afresh! We will keep the logo, content and some images.

    I'll provide feedback on your designs as we go and would like all designs to be posted here so we can all see them - no private entries please.

    I'm thinking of a deadline of Monday 9th Feb, I'm in Australia so we're gonna have some time differences, so I'll make it 12 noon my time - GMT+10 (I think haha).

    So here we go...

    Inntec Refurbishments - Solatec Outdoor Living
    Designing You A Better Lifestyle

    This site is for a builder specialising in home renovations, building new patios, carports, pergolas and decks. They also have a DIY patio kit division.

    We are looking for a complete redesign of his site.

    We're looking for something simple and effecive. We are keeping the logo at the top left corner of the page - the one with the man holding a hammer and the attached Solatec logo. We want to keep the colors in the logo and add a touch of red.

    The new design doesn't have to be based on that colorscheme, as long as it works well with the existing logo.

    The site will consist of 3 compatible page designs - the home page template, another template for the rest of the site and a wordpress blog template. You only need to design the home page for the contest, but agree to complete the other pages on winning the contest.

    All pages need to be in a template style and easy to add the content to and also easy to add/remove/change links.

    There are 2 main objectives of the site - 1. to gain leads for the construction side and 2. to collect customer requests for DIY Kit Quotes - there are 2 different opt-in boxes for these. I need these optins to pop, but not be too in-your-face if possible.

    Here are a few sites we like (in order that we like them)...

    http://solatec.com.au
    http://www.installaveranda.com.au/
    http://www.aussieoutdoor.net.au/index.htm
    http://www.patioliving.com.au/
    http://www.trueline.net.au

    You can see they are quite simple.

    Page Design 1 - Home Page
    will include:
    - video that I will create
    - Opt-in Form (title should be something attention grabbing & changeable by me)

    Page Design #2 - Wordpress Blog Theme
    we are adding a blog to the site so it will need to match the main site.

    Page design #3 - Sub Page Template for all other pages; these will all need to be linked to each other and need to be moron proof - so please make it so i can change the content and the text in the links without having to edit link images.

    Current Pages we have are:

    * Services
    ~ Renovations
    ~ Patios
    ~ Decks
    ~ Carports

    * D.I.Y. Kits
    ~ Aussie Outdoor Metal Patio Kits
    ~ Solatec Pre-Cut Timber Gable
    ~ Bondor “Solaspan” Insulated Roofing and Accessories
    ~ "Devi" Heaters

    * Testimonials

    * Blog

    * Contact Us

    As I said I need to be able to change the links to these pages in case any changes need to be made.

    Copyright will belong to me, but winner is welcome to use template for their portfolio.

    3 Pages for $100 is way too low IMO.

    I did a bit of research before I posted this - there are other contests with the same price, one currently running with 3-4 pages for $100.

    Sorry if you think its too low

    I'll pass an entry, seems like a good contest :)
    Will the other pages match the homepage? If yes, it'll only take a few minutes to do the other ones if you do it properly.

    I'm assuming this is design only?

    Hi

    Yes they all match - I dont mind dropping the blog theme template if that makes it more appealing.

    The secondary pages will match the home page - just looking less home pagey

    That's what I was thinking.

    So it can work on the internet-HTML
    otherwise you just mean a PSD which is nothing more then the image with no working links etc.

    I was about to enter before I saw that you need a coded design.. I strongly recommend you to either increase the prize (since coding takes a lot of time) or make the contest PSD-only which would be fair enough. If the contest is PSD-Only I'd definitely throw an entry in a couple of hours. :)

    I'm gonna make this better for the winning designer - I cant edit the OP though.

    Is it more attractive if I make it $100 for 1 page - home page - coded.

    For an extra $50 the winner will create the secondary page (coded) - if I need it.

    How does that sound?

    I'm sorry if I underpriced this, but I was being guided by other contests here. I guess I was wwww... wwwwrrr... wrong (arghh)

    Sounds perfect, however for me i like to make clients, for that i sometimes even compromise the pay so even if you wouldn't have increased it, i still would have participated :rolleyes:

    Working on my entry

    Thanks
