That does not count for GTech, Exxon and Halliburton are Texas companies greasing his palms! GTech is the sell out!
Doesn't everyone assume that the US watches finances? Why would simply stating this be supporting terrorism as you said. I wouldn't think the news will stop the transfer of funds either way. The issue is that the banks where doing this as a good will effort. Now the govt' fears they will back off now that the public is more aware of it. Eitherway, please stop callling everyone a terrorist if they wont agree with you. Last post, I'll let the rest of you fight this one out...
Everyone assumes the stealth bomber can avoid radar. Does the NYT have the right to post details of how this is accomplished, giving aid and comfort to our enemies? No. To suggest that all the NYT did was state the US watches finances is dishonest. Really? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dy...27/AR2006062701912.html?referrer=emailarticle There you go serverunion, your wish is granted. Now you can sleep better at night knowing that our enemy's best interests have been looked out for by self-serving liberals. More dishonesty. I've not called anyone a terrorist. If you are ashamed of supporting the same values that terrorists have, you should review what it is you stand for, instead of what you stand against.
What do you stand for GTech? Record profits for Exxon, an illegal war that cost us over 600 Billion and counting and 2,500 lives, Russia and Iran laughing all the way to the bank because of idiotic Blair and Bush policy and an impending war in Gaza Tell us GTech, tell us what you stand for Would you like to hold hands with the King of Saudi Arabia like Bush does?
There has to be point where security trumps absolute free speech. I'm a fervent believer in free speech, but even FDR had to spread lies in the public in order to make sure the media didn't reveal tactics durning world war 2. We can't hope the media always has the best intentions or that it won't have an ill-effect on the populace. If it's program that's reviewed, and deemed necessary and proper...then it should not be a public issue. I suppose there's internal things that must be resolved ie methods of maintain secrets while revise if their proper. Agree...disagree?
Disagree, the press got Nixon busted for his election fraud, I support the press over the Bush White House. The Nixon gang in there is guilty of a hell of a lot more crimes than Nixon ever was and the NYTimes knows more than has been released so far, Cheney is pissed because it exposes him, not national secrets!
Is there anything you wouldn't consider selling America out for, anthony? Oh, and btw, I stand for the single biggest thing you hate the most. America.
OK GTech, just cut back on 90% of the crap and maybe I will believe you! PS: Does the Bush White House = America to you GTech, did America actually elect this White House? PPS: Did the Nixon White House = America to you GTech ?
What war? Last I knew, war was declared by Congress (as defined in the Constitution). One would think a Senator would know this. Article I, Section 8 - " Powers of Congress: The Congress shall have Power to... declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;" The United States has not been at "war" since WWII. I believe the term of art is "authorized use of force." Is it possible to be treasonous lacking a formal declaration of war? Is the (ab)use of governtmental power subject to criticism lacking that declaration? Food for thought.
Have you ever said *anything* good about America? I mean, like if I give you a dollar and a quart of malt liquor, could you find *anything* you like about America? Or do you just hate everything about it?
Do I have anything good to say about America (to GTech that means Republicans)? No GTech, to your America, I don't, not to one that lets crooks rig elections and steal oil money from it's citizens and conducts illegal operations to seize oil fields for Exxon and BP, sorry GTech, I have nothing good to say about "your America". But the one I knew growing up (pre-Nixon) was a great nation indeed! Now can you answer the new members question instead of engaging in propaganda?
So you don't think the government can ever have legitamate secrets (given even the best conditions that they aren't abusing)? I'm not even speak of Bush, nixon, or anyone you dislike, I'm speaking of the process of government. For example: Lets say we end-up in a legit war in your eyes, and the press finds out how we'll attack our enemy, and reveals it...consequently our soldiers are killed because of the intelligience received. Get my point?
I was pretty sure your hatred for America was non-exclusive, but thanks for verifying. This helps me understand better why you willfully defend terrrorists here on the forum.
No, that bastard was one of the founders of Halliburton! GTech, I thought you were done with the lies and propaganda, we had a deal man!
