Leave comments or blogs or get links on sites that are:

    a) relevant to your niche
    b) have a high PR
    c) are not banned/dodgy sites

Also, when getting the link, make sure you use your keywords in the anchor text.
Rotate around a few keywords and also rotate around the page that you link to.

as far there is no book for link building but the tips for link building would be 1. it should be submitted in proper category and indepth category. 2. submitted link will not be useful or activie - untill if u not verify link in email 3. u should change title, meta in submission at every 50 submission. 4. u should used high pr dir for link building so it increase your chance to turn into backlinks

seowebsitetraffic.com has no h1 tag on front page....it focuses on PPC, i could not find any part of the site which mentioned on page optimisation or analysis of your site... so i am guessing this site does not know too much about organic seo

I agree with lindamood. There is no book for link building so follow those tips.

Don't do so much of directory submission in a single day it might be "SPAM"

Directory submission is an ineffective link building technique. I don't think it is necessary to spend some time on submitting to them. There are many link building tips here in DP forums, you don't need to waste your time on any e-books, there are tons of free stuffs here.
