It seems that all direct track is down. I wasted my money for PPC today. Some of the affected CPA networks, COPEAC, FluxAds...
Hi, Yep, we are also down. Below is an email with the reason why. "I just received word that there is a minor issue resulting from a software release today. I am told some clients are having intermittent access issues. Our team is aware of this and everything should return to normal shortly. Regards, Brian Bastio " Hope its not much longer as all networks are losing a lot of money including us. Regards, Michael Walmsley TML Media Ltd
Yes, that's what Clickbooth explained today in email. How will they know how much to make do? I guess they'll try to reimburse for our ppc spending? My email from them: Please be advised that the Clickbooth Network is back up and running. DirectTrack had a Denial of Service attack on it, which resulted in the downtime. Make goods will be issued for the brief downtime experienced today. If you have any questions please contact your affiliate manager. Thanks!
UPDATE: Dear Michael, As an update to the Dedicated Denial of Service attack that began yesterday afternoon, our infrastructure is still being hampered by this attack and as a result of the huge volume of illegitimate traffic that is being directed towards us (which needs to be redirected to our partner),the resources available to handle legitimate traffic are being negatively impacted. As our upstream partner continues to expand upon the amount of knownin filtrated IP addresses and/or the amount of illegitimate trafficd ecreases, you may see poor performance within your DirectTrack account. Our systems teams are working aggressively with our partner to continue tobattle this attack. Thank you, The DirectTrack Team
well the vast majority of CPA Networks use Direct Track - for good and bad. From a network stance i can tell you it is much easier to get into the game if you use DT, building in-house is very expensive and takes a ton of work. Some very good networks use DT and I would not suggest tossing them just yet, however the future is with networks that have invested in stable, reliable, scalable in-house systems.
