I was trying to make a proxy site for me and my friends at school. The script works fine. I made a glype and phproxy one but had the same problem with both. The home pages were not blocked but the when you put the url of the site you would like to visit in and hit go it blocks it and i think it does it based on the script. Below is a link to a screenshot of my site being blocked. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc84/joel8520/blockedproxy.jpg So i figure what i have to do is change the script enough to keep them from recognizing it as one of the common proxy scripts. I need help with what needs to be changed. Please help me out. =]
Looking at the error, it isn't the scripts fault, it's actually your administartor stopping certain code from launching ( Proxy ). If I am correct, you have a very smart admin. Ways around it: - Rent a VNC at $24.99 a month. - Get your admin password - Try to use my personal proxy: http://proxy.199hosting.net - Give up
there are proxies that do work at our school. I don't want to invest just check my myspace lol. One of the ones that works is letmepass.co.uk if that helps
same error message as always. I have seen some glype proxies working here but others not. Mabey with enough modifications to the script they won;t be blocked?
Proxy websites allow people to get around the blocks in place at school/college/work. Obviously these sites are going to be a target for system administrators and there is no definitive way to stop them being blocked. The best idea? Make one for yourself on a unrelated domain, do NOT include any proxy related words and never share the URL with anyone. This should stop you getting blocked for a while but they will eventually catch you one way or another.
I do agree with Venturefox. Service providers have their strategies if and how to deal with which anonymized or proxied access. If they assume a certain technology as a harm for their services they will eventually ban it. So, you can try to stealth your proxies, but sooner or later the services might figure it out and block it anyway.
