I dont have clue, can anyone help me decipher this message from PrecisionClick. I asked them why in some of the reports I was recieving clicks but no reported earnings. Heres there response: We pay on a Dynamic CPM basis, which means we deliver a blend of CPM's and CPC. However, our system goes through an initial learning period. During this period it decides which campaigns will convert the best with the kind of traffic you are sending. What can you send our way? Initially we need a large volume of traffic to see how you convert with us. Can you send 100K per creative per day of US only traffic? What do they mean by 100k per creative per day?
To be honest, I for one have no idea. But I'd guess that "creative" is jargon for some aspect of your business - either representing a website, webpage, ad impression, etc. What is clear in their message is that they're blaming you for the lack of revenue - which wouldn't give me a "warm fuzzy", if you know what I mean. You may want to recontact their tech support and ask them to define their terminology. If this is a common term in the PPC world, and I've just somehow missed it, I'm sure someone will come along with additional information. Sam
I got the same message from them when I asked what dcpm stood for. I think basically all it means is that they pay per impression, but they supposedly will smart price it by how your traffic converts.
I'd guess that 'DCPM' stands for 'Dynamic Cost Per Thousand' - the message references this term, and their service is supposedly a hybrid of CPM and CPC. Sam
Yeah, I get that feeling too. I'm showing $.02 on my total earnings, but $1.62 on my report. That's with a couple thousand impressions.
