Which PR does your page pass on?

So, My website has two different PR's. It has it's displayed PR which is PR3 which I had in December and it has it's real PR which is probably more like a PR6 since I've got 20 PR5 links and a bunch of others.

Anyways, my question is... If I started a site today and had no links to it except for the website mentioned above. Would google count the above website as a PR3 and give this new website a PR2 or would it count the above website as a PR6 and count the new one as a PR4ish.

Another way of asking this is... is if a "PR0" site that really has 1000 PR6 backlinks points to you, will google pass on it's real PR or it's toolbars stated PR? Thanks for the help

depends if your site has good quality content.. surely you will pick up PR.. dont be focusing much on your PR try to focus on your rankings, traffic and conversions.. PR will just come along..

No, it doesn't depend on the quality of your content like anthony said.
Google Doesn't have any statement on this, but studies (and common sense) have shown that Google only consider the relative PageRank.
Note: I might have misunderstood your question.

Most probably all 20 PR5 backlinks you get is from dofollow links. Congratulations on making your PR3 site to PR6 in short period of time.

Do you mind to share with us on what is the website URL that you gained PR6?

There is no way that we can calculate what will be our next PR. If you give a dofollow link from your PR6 to a PR0 site. Most probably, your PR6 will drop and your PR0 will increase. So, try to get more incoming links before you planning to give any links out.

you PR is what google says it is, not what you guess it is depending on how well you think you are doing. So the answer is that any pagerank you pass will depend on what GOOGLE thinks your pr is, not what you think it is.

the first main thing ........no one knows how a PR is calculated exactly as we only have an idea how it is calculated...........so rely on what google shows the PR as....

the other thing if your site is PR3 as per google and you link it to site which is PR0 or you link 1000 of PR6 website to a website with PR0 , it is not sure that your PR0 will come up to PR2 directly..........as i said there are calculation whcih is done to calculate PR and we do not know that exactly

I have to agree with Content Boss - I'm not sure how you are determining "real" PR but if Google sees you as PR 3, you're PR3 no matter how many great inlinks you have. Overtime of course your PR will go up, as the site gets older, you get more links, etc. But to go back to the original question, your PR will not jump up with one link from another site, whether it's PR3 or 6. It will develop over time just like this one did.
