I have never seen that before. Move my mouse and move the banner. Its neat. But distracting. I move the mouse...see the effect...move the mouse a bit more...see the effect. It felt like someone was following me. Cool.

Yeah, I don't like what my mouse does. I wish it did more. Try making it loop when you go to the far right or left of the screen. That way I'd be more satisfied and maybe others as well.

I'm not a fan of the mouse animation. You may also want to add a SEO title tag module to your Joomla. It will help with your rank. Overall the site looks alright. Did you make the template yourself?
I like your design technique. The background graphics for header and footer is quite good but the content section is left white as back color, try to add some mild colors as background, looks more attractive.
