My version of TinyURL

Hey, I've created my own version of TinyURL because I was bored, it took my about 5 hours in total (layout, php, html and seo)

So basically it is really simple, you enter a long link and it gives you a small one xD

It works fine here ..

I think that mdvasanth86 didn't see the generated link as it appears too close to the input box.

I would suggest that you move it a bit further and make it bold ..

Ok, I will change the REGEX (the code the validates the URL)

 

The url was invalid, it must start with http:// , https:// or ftp:// only! [Back]


That is what i got...

i think you should add the http:// part yourself if its not entered already!

 

Ok I've changed a few things and http is now added automatically

I'd hardly call it a mini link. My original link was www.atheistmind.com and this link is http://midgetlink.ludatha.com/index.php?li=41

Also it only worked when I excluded the http://

So it may be adding an extra http:// when the user inputs his http:// along with the rest of the url.
