Yesterday everything was fine, today, all of my rankings have vanished. McDar shows huge drops across most data centers. I'm completely baffled by what's going on. Other than some minor updates and submitting to directories, nothing else has changed. No coop, no link buying, just doing the pyramid linking and havn't gotten much there. Is anyone else seeing "Florida" type chages?
I have exactly the same shit over here! Since today my sales are dropped 70%! I was surprised that there wasn't a thread allready on this.
Exactly. Most of my serps have droped from the top ten to the top 200's. Ray, I was too, but I'm thinking this is not a global update, at least not yet. But it seems that something is going on... and it's not good (for me anyway)
I dont see any changes from my side to be frank, though some of my SERPS are gaining now. may be its different for every site.
I neglected to mention that using the site: in G, it shows over 750 pages indexed. It's not the 'supplemental hell' that got me in Big Daddy. Aaron, I totally agree. This majorly "sucks ass".
same drop here... Top 5 with hundreds of keywords dropped to top 50, even worst. Pageviews from 140k to 55k daily! Its hurting me big time!! My main competitor has dropped at the same time. The common things I see with our 2 sites is the use of co-op linking (minor in my case), the fact we were #1 and 2 in Google on most keywords, and the use of mod rewrite...
forgot to mention that I didn't get any problem with site:, no de-indexed page... only problem is serp
The first I noticed is I have 2 sites on the same topic. Not using coop or link vault or nothing like that. They are both DMOZ listed and ranked on the first page for a competitive keyword. Both are now gone. So we can put a coop theory to rest and since they are both DMOZ listed I am clueless. Must be a glitch and not a algo change unless they arent using DMOZ no more.
Well I sure hope they fix the glitch. But based on previous history, I'm expecting my site to be 'invisible' for 3-6 months.
By the way, can anybody please tell me if i'm right? Does co-op means that you link from let's say http://www.ownsite.nl/lawyers.html to http://www.anothersite.nl/lawyers.html or am i missing something? I did do a manually link-exchange with sites that have the same subject, but that can't be wrong or does it?
Yeah... it'll take 3-6 months because Google has it handled and are on top of it right now, top=top of the s**t-pile!
