Didn't they have the module that includes CCBill??

I saw the following for $99

    Subscription & Ecommerce Module
Add more payment gateways (PayPal, 2CO, CCBILL) to your community. Sell memberships, items, e-goods. Manage user subscriptions. Automate your payments with Subscription & Ecommerce Module.

I have seen the other platforms by searching, but can't find an official Handshakes download site.
Found tons of affiliates, but thought there might be a more trustworthy main site.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

after debating which script to buy, i just recently purchased phpfox, so far (only a few days now) I like it. The code is well commented and everything is object oriented and makes use of smarty templates. ...we'll, see how it goes with time, as I plan some custom modding, but after a first pass through phpfox, I can say that I'm happy.

Just curious, which script is most customizable appearancewise in anyone's educated/experienced opinion? I have some ideas for social networks that would rock, but it's mostly be the look/feel of the site that would have to be spot on vs. necessarily having a lot of functionality.

@e96 : I gave bad feedback about PhpFox earlier. At the time I was running it, it was still version 1.x and the Smarty integration was poor, no OOP, it was designed with html tables, and the code wasn't this much commented. Though the community always've been of great support.

Now you say so, I might reconsider buying a fresher version of PhpFox as it seems to be "well spent money" ;-)

I mean Model View Controller... If we (my team and I) buy a script, we'll want to use it as an extensible base. We need clean code, separated business logic from templates & OOP. If we can't find it, we'll develop our own solution, but it will cost more to our customers...

Thanks for the review, Raven. Apparently, you know something about the question - and by reading you, I don't feel like you're affiliated with any script-selling company so... That's what I call objectivity, yes!

I totally agree on that point. Earlier someone stated PhpFox was nicely coded, but I had to design a version of PhpFox, and trust me, it was a chore... I thought newer versions were better, but apparently, it's not. To me, available scripts nowadays don't respond to my quality expectings.

I think the social networking script that will be the killer app in the market isn't there yet. There are a few solutions here, but hey, they are MySpace whereas we want Facebook.

    Thanks for the link mate.

    Try http://www.business-space.org or http://www.abledating.net
The scripts are decent (although user ilook, who has been hired either by the competetors or by these companies will shrill his usual scam song in several minutes, you will see :D

These are people that I personally know, and the software is developed usually 3-4 years. BusinessSpace is a new script, having a more linkedin flavour.

Ahaha as I told you :D ilook is a shill hired either by Boonex or by Dmitry Rudakov, who owns several dating software development companies. You go from ABK, you come to his other company.
Also ilook posts fake complains to BBB. Name me a company and I will make it have an F rating at BBB, posting complains, especially if this company is connected with Russia.
Beware of ilook, a scammer and forum flooder.

You can use your salestalk to scam people, but FACTS never lie.
The prison is the only place where you and your scammer friends belong.

ALERT: ilook is a shill, beware!

I am not promoting anything, I just provide links to consider and there is nothing to trust or not trust. And the fact that ilook spends so much time and efforts marking all posts about the software with hysterical shrills and red color tells about the fact that he is paid well for that. The problem is he is not professional flooder and even can not provide any bug lists, which he states are present in the script.

I will continue answering here as soon as there are some real bug lists or other factual material, answering a crazy little shill answering machine seems humiliating for me, let him continue his black pr campaign all alone until he is banned or his balls are eaten.

    See you some time, thanks.

For those who tend to consider ilook a real customer and not a shill hired to blackmail a decent company, here is another website devoted to independent software reviews:
    http://www.mytestbox.com/social-network-software-reviews/ablespace-abledating-social-network-dating-software/

As you can see, these reviewers as well as http://www.datingsoftwarereviewer.com/ consider AbleDating to be a decent script.

My advise would be, not to believe hysterical shrills of the black pr guys, not to believe glad shrills of the white pr guys, but to EXAMINE the demos, speak with support, and read independent reviews. There is no other way to make a choice.
