    cuz, it doesn`t need any specific software client.

    I'm a simple MSN man. I used to use Trillian, but that was only when I had contacts on MSN/AIM/Yahoo, now they are solely on MSN.

    Uses all the IMs, plus also Skype and IRC with SSL.

    Destroys Trillian IMO.

    The brand IMs I know are msn, icq, yahoo im , aim, gtalk .

    I strongly recommend Pidgin, it supports a lot of protocols and it is open-source :) It is very strong, fast and stable.

    You don't even have to have a messenger client downloaded and installed on your PC...... I am loving it !:D

    Not good at all, No support for Video / Audio chat.

    Whats the point?
