My 4 months experience with Kontera

From 14th Sept 08 to 30th Jan 09 ~ 135 days!

Definitely not worth it! Generally I make more than $1k per month from Adsense on this same site - and it is so hard to get payment from Kontera. Thus the decision is to remove Kontera at the end of this week.

Just dont understand how others can earn so much from Kontera!

Time to try something else

With CPA offers you will make even more than with Adsense.

 

True. Adsense is paying 10 times more than kontera according to my experiment too
And Kontera really slow down the loading speed

 

I ran Kontera for two weeks in january and got 200. The other two weeks I ran Infolinks and i got 1200.
Use both Adsense and infolinks. Infolink clickers aren't adsense clickers. It doesn't affect CTR.

Be advised that if you pull your kontera code from your site, kontera will take your money. You won't get paid

I am waiting to receive my 2nd payment via paypal before terminating their services.

Still contemplating which others to try - probably try out adbrite or the likes.

havent seen any good reviews about kontera in the last few months. all publishers left and LEAVING.

LIFETIME PRISIONER, if you stop sending kontera traffic you not getting your money. you need 30 days notice.

Kontera was founded as a startup company in 2003 by 2 guys and 1 girl from Israel. and graduates of Tel Aviv University, Yoav Shaham, Assaf Henkin, and Henit Vitos.

kontera is a short term company. they started good in the begining, but kontera is a joke now, they took over the market and publishers for a short time, and they thought they can pay very little with their own conditions, and make good terms to take money as much as possible. publishers had no choice "1 cent per click is better than nothing". but now they have BIG competitors pays 20x - 50x "20 cent to 50 cent per click and even more".

publishers always looking for the best ad network to earn money. and kontera even they don't consider to raise earning a bit for publishers, so they can keep them and give them "HOPE" lol. because so many will get the minimum payment and switch to other networks (infolinks, Vibrantmedia, adbrite).

some people think kontera is a big compnay like Google, lol, 10 staf members and 2 offices one in the US and one in Israel, Hertzelia.

so as i said kontera is a short term company. and it will disappear very soon from the market. competitors are taking over.

My experience with both Kontera and Infolinks says following:
- Infolinks clicks paid better
- CTR of Infolinks links is higher

 

Personally I don't like intext ads much but they make me the most money, right now adbrite is dominating... for me.

 

Odd and hubpages still uses them..... glad I never tried myself...
