Review of my website

    I just did a small redesign on my personal website. I really like it, but would like the opinions of other designers. I really want the site to 'pop' - really eye catching. I think it's really nice, but think that it could use some more eye candy.

    Any suggestions? The website is in my signature :)

    I like the design. The only thing I can recommend is perhaps italicize the "Search..." text and when clicked remove that text. If unclicked (and nothing written in it) make the text re-appear. Small and arbitrary but I believe it makes it easier than highlighting and deleting. (Oh yes, to us junkies the extra 1 sec is valuable time XD)

    I agree very much - I actually have code for this, just haven't upped it yet :p

    How about usability and overall design and navigation?

    I would say, use a different background color. may be a gradiation.

    Your site appears perfect for me. The color harmony is fantastic. The rotating globe is really nice. I don't think there is a need to change anything in the design. Congrats.

    I think it looks good, perhaps highlight the Menu a bit differently so it stands out more. Otherwise Fab! Best to you-

    very nice design, the only thing i would change is the earth ball on the top left, i would make it only on the home page (not site wide).

    Slow down the slide show is all i have to say. You got me really annoyed :p I was trying to read them and then they just flash away.

    You can mouse over the little numbers in the bottom right hand corner, and it will jump/stop on the slide you want :)
