I have tried this myself and all my links get blocked right away and then the account gets banned. Like if you target weight loss and post a clickbank link you get blocked right away. I have not tried a landing page yet. I say something like "If you want to learn how to lose weight check this out" and I get banned. What is the best way to go about it? After posting so many links you get that 900 error and they block your IP for so many hours. How do you get around that?
Defintely not the way you have been. I doubt a landing page would do much more. Build a website with valuable content related to the niche....then cloak your affiliate link and send traffic through to your affiliate offer.. Remember whenever you think you are smarter than a billion dollar corporation.......You're not!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm, Yahoo Answers will bring a little traffic but you can only post about a dozen answers with the same link and they will ban you temporarily. I answer the questions with full sentences, and sometimes even a paragraph when I get carried away. 3 of my answers were chosen as best answers so I must be doing something right. But they ban me temporarily every time if I go over some limit. Does this happen to anyone else and how can we avoid it?
I use yahoo answers and can tell you that if you choose low competition but highly searched keywords you are usually guaranteed within google top 5 positions for a few weeks. Do keyword research thoroughly.
It depends on your niche. I have a desperate buyer niche and I post on yahoo answers and wiki answers under a pen name. So I find someone asking the question that I have the answer for and I answer the question and then put a link to my site and say something like "I found mysite . com has some great answers for ....... it really worked and I haven't had a problem since." I have half a dozen different accounts and I alternate which one I use. The first time I did this I answered 5 questions and got 2 sales the next day at $27/sale.
Don't think so. I posted quite a number of answer but only received few referral traffic. Instead, it is very useful to get backlink.
It depends a lot on whatr you are answering and how related your site is to the person asking the question, the question itself, and the category. I use Yahoo Answers a lot in the Canadian Travel sections. I provide real and informative answers to their questions (usually like 'What is there to do in ___________?') for which my site is directly targetted. I answer with a few ideas and then source my website (www.day-trips.ca) at the bottom. So far 12 of my answers have been chosen as the 'best answer' and i've never been marked as spamming. I think it also helps because my website is not selling anything. It's just a free advertising supported service. If you try to sell using Yahoo Answers, it's difficult to not be listed as spam.
yahoo answers is useless for backlinksas they have the nofollow atribute, however i read somewhere that for each link you put down your more than likely to get around 10 visitors.
