In an effort to get more targeted traffic to your website... What is more valuable, having tons of articles on your mother site or submitting all these articles to article directories / blogs and embedding backlinks within your articles? Thanks!
I think it would depend on the quality of the articles. If they are very high quality you could post them on your website and naturally attract a lot of good links. If they are lower quality you would probably benefit more by submitting those articles to article directories. It would also depend on the state of your domain. If your domain already has a strong link profile, those articles could easily get search engine rankings. If you don't have a very good link profile, I would submit those articles to article directories. I don't expect everyone to agree with me. Some people prefer using unique content on their own website and some people prefer using unique content to build backlinks. It just depends on what works for you.
