Unless you can throw up a video of some ugly dude picking up a hot chick, whether it be completely acted out or actually real (I doubt that) then I am willing to bet this won't convert that well.
Thanks for your advice! I do have some videos in the works, I will be starting a PPC campaign as well as testing various landing pages to find the best one for all the affiliates! One thing to note, there are other competitors who have no videos and convert - so to say that this will not convert for the simple fact that it doesn't have a video isn't necessarily accurate.
It is certainly an interesting page and design. I had joked with a friend of mine about doing one of these and calling it the "Jedi Knight's Guide to Picking up Women" proving that connection with the target audience is the most important factor. I think you have kind of done the same thing. I am a big believer in testing before announcing and would like to see how it would do if you added pics of you and dave being especially big losers. Also, real pics of big losers on the testimonials. Finally, I would like to see a pic of your very hot (but believable) girlfriend. I think these would help but you never know until you test. best of luck.
Sales page looks OK. Graphic in header is great, must have cost you plenty. You need some articles and banners on the affiliate page, and make the landing page download live.

It was funny, I laid in bed at 2 a.m., restless with my mind running with business and internet ideas (normal routine) and uglypimp.com popped in my head, i got out of bed and bought the domain - if it doesn't sell huge i'm not bummed cuz at least i have a funny page to show family and friends :-D I will be adding more pic's and videos soon as well as running some ppc - i really think there is potential w/ some really good, targetted ppc into various sites that attract men between 18 and 40 - maybe even porn sites - who knows.. hahah

I agree with this. You do need some more proof. The testimonials need photos atleast and a video testimonial would probably help alot.
You don't need proof, you need a compelling offer... A thing that makes the prospect sit up and say "oh shit what have I been doing.... I need to buy this guy's stuff"!

Looks like we got a professional sales page analyzer here... Check out all other this type of products websites. Do you see there any videos that you talk about? No? Wow, I'm surpised. The sales page looks pretty good, and the commission is a nice as well. Don't worry about the page too much, because you can tweak and test it later on. Kind of reminds of "Rich Jerk" style Good luck
Hilarious I love it! Social proof is important, nobody can deny this - compelling offer is only one part of it. What you have already should be good enough and you seem to have checked most of the required, obviously can better the conversions later with photos on the testimonials but you have plenty good on your sales page to start with.

I'm digging it and I disagree about needing a video - It might help if it's done well. But a badly done video may do more harm than good. Really you can just test it and see what works. I have a few sites where I can promote this on though so I'll put it on my "to do" list... actually it's more like a book than a list at this point.
This is interesting, I found this site today and noticed it had a gravity of zero. This surprised me because the site looks great and the copy reads well. Has it got any affiliates yet? If a site like this doesn't attract affiliates, then I am very surprised!

I totally understand your list, i mean book - i have go through the same thing, i need to clone myself like 50 times over... Hey James, it has some affiliates but they aren't sending over very much traffic - a few hops here and there, maybe they are still setting up hoplinks and pages * crosses fingers * I will be releasing more updates today on the site, such as landers - will have some articles available also - i would be happy to supply articles on a constant basis to affiliates who generate atleast 5 sales Thanks again guys!!!
