help with restore cpanel

    i just brought a shared hosting with cpanel and i did a backup from another server and transfered it to the new one which was complete and on the new host i gone to file section then found the backup and clicked extract after a few min says

    the file backup is about 15gig

    are certain shared hosting got a timeout

    Upload the backup to root and ask your host to export it for you!!

    extracting a 15gig zipped file on a shared hosting server will slow down the whole thing unless they have a lot of cpu and ram power to handle it and to avoid that most hosts have limits set for stuff like this. as cold suggested, contact your host to do it for you, they'll be able to do it through SSH without any issues.

    cheers i just msged them now sayin what size the backup is and that i cant do it so hopefully they will able to do it

    /scripts/restorepkg username

    well its not ssh lol can i do that on shared hosting the script code
