oops I just found that I already posted a similar review thread, can the mods please unite them? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=73554 thanks
Is clear, soft and almost there is nothing except for its purpose... The position of some elements change after the first search. I suggest you to open a new window when users click on a search result. Also, for me it looks better if the find button have always the same text. (find or search) I like it. I really like this site and find it quite useful. I'm thinking something that might be neat is to have some sort of "Top 10 Most Talked About Sites" list. I'd like to see which sites are most frequently mentioned in the forums. If you could find a way to do that it'd certainly be interesting. Great idea though!
thanks BlacklightLion, that's an interesting idea.. I'll consider making something like top forums there
Good & clean. Top 10 would be a great idea. Also why not add some stats like number of forums or posts indexed. It's obvious what the site is, but I'm sure the SEs would appreciate more explanation. How do I get added?
Great and simple design . I suggest to use a different font for the search results. Arial or Verdana would fit much better in your new design.
Glad you like the idea Some great contributions coming in. I think this'll be an incredibly useful site!
Your logo is beautiful, but what will you do when the forum become alpha? The green "circle star" is now a part of the logo and if you remove it then the logo will take a different look. I think, it will become still more prof.
The main good factor is no ads on the main page... those would be just ANNOYING! As for the green star being a part of the logo, I think it could turn yellow or red or whatever color taht'll look good with "NOW LIVE" on it or something - but that's up to the site admin.
Very nice! Bonus points because my site is in there I think you could make a better font choice however, Trebuchet MS is what I always choose but it's not universally web-friendly ... Arial would be next, followed by Verdana.
