    Vista!

Vista got a very bad rap. Intel wanted to sell a bunch of old processors, so Microsoft lowered the requirements for Vista. Running Vista on an older machine was very slow. On the right hardware it zips along with some very nice improvements. Vista 64 bit rocks.

Windows 7 is just Vista 2

I have voted for Vista But XP is stable till now, since vista price is high people can't afford to buy it and moreover vista ultimate doesn't comes with corporate license like Windows XP, if so more people will be using it.
Microsoft restricted Vista in all aspects. Hopefully Windows 7 will be having something we can expect.

My suggestion is stick to XP as of now.

Completely depends on what type of machine you're talking about running the OS on.

I voted Vista because of the look but XP is more stable. So on my dual boot machine I only use vista for browsing then XP for coding.

I prefer vista but that's only because I can run it more then fine, it really depends on your hardware which one you will prefer to run on your system.

XP Pro - I've got 2 systems, one with XP Pro and the other VISTA. the vista system is sooooo much slower (more RAM and a faster processor) then the xp system that it hurts!

    Go with XP buddy.

just one thing...the Graphics card has 128 bit Memory Bus Width ....i don`t think that `s gonna be sufficient for the DX10 games!!
always buy cards which would be able to last for atleast 3 to 4 years & provide good performance & eye-candy when running multimedia applications or games!!!
moreover, i hear that there is already a talk for the launch of DX11....

    good luck...

anyways, one thing`s for sure the price is good!!;)

I voted Vista. XP was good there for a bit. But Vista is soo much better. I think the main reason why people have problems wit Vista is because they want to put old software on it. Vista is made for the new age machine, and many people don't get that.

With XP you cant even have a lot of ram or a really good CPU because it OLD technology even though the file system is NTFS (New Technology Filing System) its old.

    Any who that's my reasoning.

    ~Go VISTA GO~ :D
