Not sure if this is the right place to say thanks to all, but i'm 17. It was 6 months ago when i first broke the ice with adsense and was able to earn over $10 a day, since then i've been working on a couple and sold them due to lack of interest. In one or two months i will have took over $6000 from adsense which is not far off a years wages working part time. So i'm gratefull! Thanks
SEO is how i done it & good ad placements THT lol, theres nothing to really share except bit of hard work I am in kings norton..
i know it My mate lives there! Hmm my hard work never seems to pay off.... just seem to be missing the key, i mean i make a bit - like £70-100 a month but i seem to be missing that important thing to push me further!
well done and all the very best... (i hope you dont mind sharing those TRICKS to get the most out of adsense)...
Well its just ad blending really, testing out to see what works best with your website. Take a look at www.arcaderun.com that has a high ctr Not much else i can say to help you out really, but if you'd like some help with your ad placement drop me a PM
Hi terryuk, I've had a look at your site and although I'm not into gaming, I do think you've got a great site there. I think I know your secret... You have placed images right next to your adsense ads. Images draw peoples attention more than text does and so they are drawn to the images then read the text and follow the links. Nice subtle use of adsense...Well done.
I'm willing to bet money that the majority of your add clicks are next to the image of the topless beach volleyball player (third image down on the left). It would be interesting to log into google analytics and check your site overlay to see what percentage of clicks actually click on your add next to that image! P.S. I hope its not just me that noticed right away that the third image down was a cartoon image of a topless woman
thats pretty cool. you make the ads look like a feature on the web site. my problem is adsense delivers me CRAP ads. i have a blog about religion and it keep f`ing pushing me STUPID blog ads. the word BLOG is only mentioned twice in the whole freaking thing. adsense seems to pickup on one or two CRAP keywords like mcdonalds then run with it. like i want a bunch of ads about burger king when that word only appears once. i've gotten pretty disappointed with googles ability to deliver me 'context based ads' they seem to just `point and shoot` with little actual regard to site content unless you repeat the same friggin key word over and over and over. f`ing retards.
Well done champ, that's the go. I wish I had got into it at an early age, the only way is up from here.
Nice site though. I haven't start adsense yet on my site, but I'll have it soon It's nice to see people sharing their success stories
That's Awsome! WTG!! I wish I would have started when I was 17 too. I'm 26 now so that's not too old but a 9 year head start surley would have helped me
