Very nice Shawn. Yep the fading could go a bit faster, but I love how you can see a bit of the post.

    Nice work!

The fading was originally at 2 seconds (now it's at 4 seconds). The 2 second fade made it awkward to click on any of the links in the entries (they would scroll too fast, so it was tough to hit it). Plus in reality, new events aren't happening even at 4 seconds on average, so it's kind of pointless IMO.

    25 isn't enough, or?

Does it do something automatically if I use Firefox

I'm using IE now, so if I switch browsers I get to see everything, right

I'm interested in how the time delay works. For instance if I make a post I see it up to 30 seconds later on DP Spy.

Also what happens when we post more and more often, does it calculate the refresh rate based on the frequency of the posts?

I agree that keeping it to subscribed forums would be good.

If there were too many events to be shown (which certainly isn't happening now), it will start skipping them if it gets more than 50 events behind the most current one.

Okay... it's stripping out quotes from the post previews and also added an option for it to only show stuff from forums you are subscribed to.

Okay, it works with Internet Explorer now... the fade in/out effects aren't as nice (there are none basically), but at least it works for the people in the 18th century.
