Automated Directory Submission

Well I was like many of you. You have heard the old wise tale of stay away from automated directory submissions and I did until today.

I found something that looked like it could work and was very promising. Although the sales page is one of those long 1 page sites that use that nasty yellow highlighter look.

But I invested some money in it and it works like a charm! Check out my link below for my full write up on it.

Yes, I use this one also...it is excellent and does the job fast and simple.
All the directories are free ones, and there will be updates on this one.

If you want to use this for your sites, get it now.

How's the support for this? Is the list constantly being updated? Is it possible to add additional directories?

Wow - I just stumbled across this thread. Thanks so much for the compliments, guys!

    To answer your questions:

I usually send out updates via email every 3 weeks or so, sometimes sooner if there's a major change somewhere.

A good example is the latest Vile Silencer list update. About 20 directories switched to paid after that was released, so I had to put together a quick emergency update to remove those sites and add the new ones on the list.

Because of the way the category selection works, users can't add their own directories. The category list for each directory has to be hand-coded into the software or it may not pick the right category when submitting.

I know it limits the program's flexibility, but the category database is what sets SubmitNow! apart from its competitors. The other auto-submitters still make you select the category on each directory site, so the submission is only semi-automatic. With my software, once you select the category, it will submit to all of your chosen directories at once with no more user input.

And I do apologize for the cheesy sales page. I hate those, but everything I've read says it's still the highest converting format, so I'm trying it out. I'm a former accountant - my marketing skills are limited to copying the "experts" at this point.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions anybody may have. PM me or post them here.

Also, if you do decide to buy the software, buy it from Aaron or Iowadawg so they get a commission. Might as well spread the wealth to my affiliates where I can. :)

    Hi LazySEO,

I would also never buy anything from a page like that. But with all these DP referrals, I bought your software and will give it a go.

Hopefully you keep on updating it. Good luck with the project :)

Hmmm...maybe I need to rethink my sales page. After reading these comments, I'm wondering how many potential customers it scares off. To be honest, I don't like buying from long sales letters either.

Can anyone give me some unbiased opinions of the quality of the 260 directories in this program? Heres is a link to the list (not an affiliate link).

    Are the directories SEO friendly?

Also can any user comment on the installation procedure? Is it straight forward? I notice that you have to install server first. E.g Xampp. Is this realy easy for a novice like myself?

I am very intersted in this software but the old saying 'buyer beware' is very valid. We have all bought software that is just sitting idle because it did not do what we expected.

    Thanks in advance

Look at the list again, see the column with "v"?
Vile silencer says those are seo friendly sites.
Of course, some sites there do not have a "v" but are same.

Installation was a snap for me (and that is saying a lot!).

I use this software just not for my sites, but I have been using it to sell submissions!
I have quite a few happy customers for this service.
Plus I allow now people to access the site via username/password protected so they can submit their own sites without me doing it.

If you want to try it out, use my option, just PM me.

But really, the software is a snap to install, a snap to use, a snap period.
    One of my better purchases.

I'm really glad you posted about this because that was an old user's manual I had on my site for download. I guess I never updated the link on my sales page.

Xampp (or any other server) is no longer required for the local installation. Everything is now combined into one Windows application, including the database.

I've uploaded the new documentation here in case you want to check it out.

As far as the quality of the list, I'll let the unbiased opinions stand on their own, but I can tell you that most of the directories not on Vile Silencer's list were either from Directory Critic or the Solicitation & Announcement threads here at DP.

At www.linkdirectories.org ( a collection of quality link directories - non profit effort ), we are interested in providing this feature to our visitors. However, we would like to test it before buying. Do you have any trial version that we could test it on?.
