Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has departed from Davos at 22.40 hours in an helicopter on Thursday and is on his way to Swiss capital city of Zurich.

Erdogan will arrive in Turkey from Zurich after midnight.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday at a press conference with Klaus Schwab, chairman of the Davos Economic Forum, "as always, I came to Davos in a bid to contribute to peaceful, constructive and international cooperation and we shared our views on the tragedy and crisis in Gaza in a way that befits the spirit of the Davos forum."

The Turkish premier said he had particularly stressed that he was a prime minister who expressed anti-semitism was a crime against humanity.

"Mr. Ban-Ki Moon talked for 8 minutes. I spoke for 12 minutes. The moderator cut off Mr. Amr Mousa when he spoke for 12 minutes. In return, the Israeli president spoke for 25 minutes during which he sometimes spoke directly to me on a high pitch and acted against the ways of a free discussion platform that we are used to here in Davos," Erdogan said.

He talked to him as the criminal he is as the president for the criminal illegal state of Israel, like all Israeli prime monsters the terrorist Peres is responsible for crimes against humanity specially in Qana, asked what if Turkey been hit by rockets? will they be silent?

trying to mislead the audience that their actions are self-defense, and that they are peace loving pigeons, he should have better asked, does Turkey starve people to little before death? and put them in an open-air prison? and deny their rights? and practice political assassination? and refuse to implement UN resolutions that call for an end to the illegal occupation? and use white phosphorus against civilians, and violate international law, and humanitarian conventions, if Turkey does so then for sure they will deserve being hit by rockets.

Arabs are not happy with Mousa for staying in the conference, he should have left immediately, in fact he should not be there since he represents the Arab league, where only 4 Arab countries have relations with Israel while the other 18 have no relations, and against normalization of relations.

I think he made a more effective point by attending, having his say, and walking out.

The guy is a hero in Turkey. It took him 3 hours to get from the airport to his house as people were lining the way waiting to see him. Finally someone is standing up for this issue

I guess if he'd have thrown a shoe he'd have been hailed as an even bigger hero.

Anyway here's the rest of it:

Pay attention to the parts where Peres says, and rightly so, that both Mubarak of Egypt and Abbas of Fatah for this conflict and not Israel. Also the part where he reads Hamas' official charter.(not that it matters to people here since I've posted it time and time again to only have it ignored, apologized for or have its meaning or its effect on peace talks minimized)

In 2008, Turkey ranked second after Russia in the list of countries with the largest number of human rights violation cases open at the European Court of Human Rights, with 9,000 cases pending as of August 2008.

Watch the movie Midnight Express, I have seen Turkey in the raw and it really is like that.

I agree, he is the most reasonable who speaks about it, even Blair now added his voice to Erdogan, in saying that Hamas can't be exluded, since they are a big part of Palestinian people, whether some of Palestinians support them fully, or some have notes, or criticisms,

what the illegal state of Israel wants is to exclude any Palestinian who demands an end of the illegal occupation, so they can have a totally corrupted, dictatorial Palestinian leadership, who will sign an agreement to make both Gaza strip and West Bank open-air prison that have borders, coasts, and a sky controlled by the Israeli terrorists, when they like they can cut life on them, for any reason even if was lame as their reasons are usually,

Palestinians have the right to live on their own land, in their own state, that is 100% independent, and its sovereignty is respected by all, Arabs too want peace, and they have an initiative and plan for it when Israel have only plans to build and expand settlements, peace that is based on justice not on sick and racist beliefs, the question that should be asked, is Israel willing to end it's illegal occupation?

from their actions, it seems not.

Israel is openly oppressive of Palestinians. I wonder why the world champion in democracy is supporting such a brutal and opressive regime like this one of Israel???
Saddam was brutal, killed people and had weapons of "mass destruction" (nobody found them anyway, .... almost forgot - except GTech and browntown on this board) and had to be removed from power and killed.
But war criminals like Peres and Saakasvhili were even praised for their actions from the world champion in democracy.
Let's see what Mr. Obama will do about that kind of guys .....

Good job Erdogan, hope there are more honest PM's to follow suit.....

don't get upset about what some post here, there are some who think that by massacres, killing war, the Messiah would be satisfied and come :D

may sound stupid for some, and it is really, but for them, it's not, that's what they believe, and they can go against any belief, or person, or thought that may promote peace, and of course Zionists would make use of such stupidity, they remind me of a group that went to Palestine in end of 1999, saying that the beginning of 2000 will be the end of the world, and the Messiah will fall from sky then, on a mount there.. and such on, I wonder where they are now? I bet they did not change their belief just changed the date lol

not saying that Ichigo91 here is one of these, each has his reason, that can be different, but it won't be inaccurate to say that many hold that belief., yet they are not brave enough to declare it, or maybe they inside themselves believe it's too silly to say it on public, instead they act in a way similar to Ichigo91, in refusing, accusing, attacking..

Everyone has human rights but sometimes you give them up when you deny the rights of others.

If the intellectually challenged leadership of Hamas were to respect the human rights of the Israelis then I am sure given time Israel would reciprocate.

    INGRATE PERSON.
I think next time he attacks Israel like that, he should think first what country provides a lot of advanced technologies to the Turkish army.
Moreover, me and a lot more Israelis, won't step on Turkey's land again. I visited Turkey 2 times and I enjoyed a lot, I am not gonna do this anymore, and a lot more Israelis do the same as me. I won't give one more cent to Anti-Zionists and pro-terrorists people.
