I'm building a website for kids and teens. It's really a gaming and blogging site. Kids and teens could be able to blog about stuff like school music games and sports. I just don't really know how to do it. I need a script thats cheap, I,m not looking to spend hundreds to build a website. And I'm looking to make money, maybe buy giving full version games for pc For maybe $10 each. I just don't know how. Need help!!! Oh and i want to put google adsense ads on too, to make a little extra$.

Well for the blogging section you can just get a free template - google "free wordpress templates". You'll also need wordpress of course. You'll need a domain and paid hosting. Not too sure on the game part though... I mean you could always just imbed the games in a blog post, but thats probably not the best way to go about it.

Excellent advice! I say go with a free template/software that has an open source community, which will continuously develop programs/apps for that particular platform. This will keep the costs down tremendously for both development and troubleshooting errors.

I am working on a site for kids games (ages 3 - 6) and my client is purchasing Flash games so he doesn't have to code it all from scratch. He claims it is going to save him a ton of time. He wants to change the graphics (my part) but design is design, and it doesn't save any time on my part. If you are going to put games on your site, you might want to look into purchasing ready made games. If time and money is an issue, don't change the graphics.

I agree with the other posters. it's hard to beat Joomla or drupal etc when you start off a website. Best way to learn is to get your hards dirty.
