Having just one keyword in an ad group

Do you ever do that? just have one keyword in an ad group?

I mean with exact match only, when the keyword gets a decent monthly search volume, like 10k plus.

Im referring to a new campaign, landing page, ad text also, and not when someone may create an ad group after having tested a bunch of keywords.

Yeah, I'm sure you'll know I do that often and think I've covered it recently.

If you '1-to-1' with 30% your most searched keywords, and cluster the remaining 70% you probably won't be far off.

Can I also add, when I say cluster 70% I dont mean them all in the same Ad Group - just grouped into their own themed Ad Groups.
