Hello All Members, I am working on one of the education website and that website is been translated in 5 languages. Eight months ago we update our website and transfter it from html to PHP platform. But here we had some problems. New pages created in PHP were not being crawled by Google, so we just discuss in forums for same crawling problem and one of member replied us that we have used java redirection from older html pages to newer PHP pages. Than we removed java based redirection code and used simple redirection meta on all pages, which we wanted to redirect. Here we got success in redirection and we got PR for all our pages, but still some of our spanish pages url's are not in SERP. Spanish pages has Good PR but those new redirected PHP pages are not on SERP, we can see older html pages on serp but we have problem to get listed PHP pages on SERP. Kindly please suggest me for same problem. How can i get my redirected spanish pages indexed on SERP?
Do you have any sitenmaps generated? If not then just create a acocunt in google.com/webmasters and start creating sitemap automatically. and submit them to webmasters tool.
having a sitemap is a good idea. also, are you doing any link building for the new site? more frequent visit googlebot makes to your site, more pages it will index. so do some link building, social bookmarking works great for indexing
Yes, i have allready xml and html site map. also i have mentioned all language problem in one xml sitemap. still there is problem. but i don't know how that page get 4 PR.
i have submitted my site in all 300 best bookmarking sites. and i have take care to submit my page which has problem to crawl. what is main reason for this page, that this is still not cached by Google and having PR 4
I have also started to get back link from different forums, i have started forum posting in education related forums and started to collect paid links from edu domans to get raking on top position. Hope this will work successfully.
